Learn to Make
The Village Studio's primary purpose is to help students create. The expectation isn't that your first project will be even close to perfect, but that you'll learn the process of making and improve.
Make to Learn
Whether it's physics in a 3D printed mechanism or color theory in a custom shirt design, projects at the Village Studio will enrich students' academic lives through informal project-based learning.
Learn to Teach
The student-led nature of the makerspace lends itself to the development of our students' interpersonal capabilities. Student mentors at the space will be tasked with teaching newcomers and maintaining the space.
